Suntory BOSS Coffee
Nick Hall – Editor-in-Chief
Truth be told, I am not very fun – I hardly drink, I don’t party and I obsessively count all of my calories. My life is an endless barrage of early evenings and fibre supplements; the symptoms of premature aging, but there is one vice that I refuse to give up. As a perennially tired millennial, I simply cannot function without 8-10 coffees per day. It’s relentless. Doesn’t matter the time, I will have a brew. Forget what the doctors tell you, my body is 70% coffee.
It’s an expensive habit too, but thankfully I’ve found an enabler to get my fix. BOSS Coffee, the Japanese canned brew that rocketed onto the scene a few years back, has been steadily fuelling my past month of productivity. The RTD format has significantly streamlined my operation as I now no longer need to wait for the coffee machine to heat up or the jug to boil. I simply reach into the dark recesses of the work fridge, pull out a colourful can of the Suntory BOSS Coffee Rainbow Mountain Blend and crack on with my day.
Alarmingly, I’m seemingly not alone in my love for RTD cold-brew coffee. Recent studies from BOSS have shown that 61% of Gen Z and 59% of Millennials have drunk more ready-to-drink iced coffee in the past 12 months than the Boomers (27%). Turns out I’m not so old after all. Whatever the case, I’m a big fan of the RTD coffee revolution and BOSS is easily the best on the market. If you are after a nice refreshing iced coffee or 10, I highly recommend it.

2024 Polestar 2
Frank Arthur – Co-Founder
I recently had the chance to take the Polestar 2 for a spin and the experience left a lasting impression on me. Its design effortlessly marries contemporary Scandinavian design aesthetics with practical functionality. Striking a balance that eludes many automakers, the Polestar 2 manages to be modern without veering into the realm of sci-fi. It exudes a design that’s bold yet understated, minimalist but not bare – a masterclass in automotive styling. Driving it myself, after only having admired it from afar was a real treat.
The model I drove was the Long Range Single Motor variant, boasting a 655km range on paper. In real-world conditions, it impressively clocks well over 500km which is no small feat. The driving experience was smooth, and the interior felt both comfortable and premium. Two features particularly stood out: the infotainment system, with its 11.2-inch LCD centre display, simplifies the cockpit by replacing numerous traditional buttons. It runs on an Android system, thankfully avoiding the trap of custom but often cumbersome operating systems seen in other vehicles. The user interface is intuitive and the integration of Google Maps and responsive voice commands elevates the experience.
The second highlight was the one-pedal drive system. This is a feature found on most EVs that eliminates the ‘creep’ of the car and decelerates upon lifting the foot from the accelerator. But unlike many other EVs that can feel jerky and unrefined, the smooth tuning of the Polestar’s one-pedal drive is up there as the best that I’ve driven. The one-pedal drive system might seem unusual at first to those accustomed to traditional cars, but it quickly becomes intuitive, making you question why we haven’t always driven this way. Coupling this with a swift 0-100km/h in just 6.2 seconds and some of the best tech on the market, the Polestar 2 offers an effortless and enjoyable driving experience.

Bobby Unconventional Soft Drinks
Richie Hall – Video Producer
I’m in the middle of a dry January and Bobby Soft Drinks are coming in clutch. I’m not usually a massive fan of soft drinks because of the usual high quantities of sugars and weird artificial colours but Bobby flips all that on its head. Born in Melbourne, this Aussie-owned brand believes soft drinks can both taste good and be good for you. We’re talking low sugar and calories and zero preservatives or artificial flavours. Their range includes favourites like Doctor Bobby, Vanilla Cola, Creamy Soda and Ginger Beer. Perfect for summer and big on thirst-quenching flavours, Bobby also contains a premium all-natural prebiotic, proven to aid digestion. Check them out!

Celebrity Edge Cruises
Marcus Hurley – Sales and Partnerships Manager
It is a true pleasure to work for a lifestyle publication whilst simultaneously being an enthusiastic member of its audience. Man of Many just speaks to me. This became very apparent when looking through our most recent travel survey which stated clearly “70% of our audience would consider a cruise for their next holiday”. Two months after reading this I was stepping aboard a Celebrity Edge Cruise heading towards the Pacific Islands.
It was an odd sensation stepping onboard with my partner and realising that our holiday had already begun. No waiting in long customs and security lines at the airport. No long-haul flights fighting for leg room with the person next to you. We stepped on board and were greeted with a 13-story offering to suit anybody and everybody: Multiple shows in their state-of-the-art theatre, shopping galore, the glamourous Grand Plaza, multiple bars, and multiple restaurants.
The experience is seamless and easy with the Celebrity App allowing you to plan your days at sea, your onshore excursions and allowing you to control your room lights, blinds and tv (did I mention Celebrity Edge is connected to Starlink?). It is easy to forget that you are cruising towards some of the most beautiful places in the world.
So, yes. You are hearing from a cruising convert. My partner and I had the time of our lives, and can confirm that cruising is suited to families, couples of any age, or just you and your mates.

23rd Street’s Tropical Gin & Soda
Alex Martinez – Media Sales and Brand Partnerships
This delightful drink is like a Passiona for grown-ups. Bright, juicy tropical fruit flavours with a refreshing sparkling twist. Twenty Third Street’s Tropical Gin evokes flavours of mango, pineapple, passionfruit & lime. Not only are the ingredients local but so is the can artwork thanks to the talents of Perth-based artist Rebecca Mills. I had these poolside at a family event and felt like I was doing Summer properly and I was back on holiday. Other flavours in the range include Pomegranate & Raspberry with Australian Vodka as well as Pineapple & Lime.

Kit Good Night Balm
Harry Parsons – Senior Branded Content Manager
As I approach the big 3-0, I have been following the societal norms of getting into golf and smoking meat. However, the one thing that I didn’t plan on is my sudden obsession with skincare. As I clutch onto my 20s glow, the daily skincare routine has evolved into a habitual part of my day.
One thing that I found I was neglecting was using any care products at night, so I’ve been trialling Kit’s Goodnight Balm for a while now, and it’s quickly become a staple in my nighttime skincare routine. The balm has a light texture, which is a huge plus for me as some creams can leave a thick, oily residue when lying on my pillow. Consider this problem resolved with the Goodnight Balm. The scent is calming yet not overpowering, just enough to notice as it lulls you to sleep.
If you couldn’t tell that I love the product already, the last bonus is that all the products are recycled, giving me peace of mind that my skincare choice is not only good for my skin but also for the planet.

Siempre Plata Tequila
Jacob Osborn – Journalist
This tequila Blanco delivers everything I want from its respective category in that it makes for a sturdy cocktail base but also goes down ultra-smooth when sipped neat. Each batch is crafted using the “Mozart Method” of fermentation, meaning classical music played in the background while a blend of rum and champagne yeast did its thing inside the tank. The resulting spirit performs a deft balancing act between notes of sweet agave, citrus peel, pepper, and light spice with subtle tropical undertones.
Going the extra mile, Siempre employs sustainable packaging methods across their award-winning range. Not only are the bottles made from 100% recycled glass, but the labels are crafted from agave and hemp fibres while the closures are 100% cork, all these various materials being sourced within 100km of the distillery. Now this is what I like to call feel-good sipping!

Reebok Nano X4
Scott Purcell – Co-Founder
For you long-time readers, you’ll know I’m a big F45 fan. There’s something about just being able to rock up and not have to plan or think about your workout while someone screams at you. I’ve been using the Reebok Nano X3’s to train so was elated to get to try out the new iteration of “the Official Shoe of Fitness”, the Reebok Nano X4. They’re supposed to be more breathable and lightweight but the thing I’m most excited about is the new colourway in bright orange.
The upper material is an all-new FLEXWEAVE with a ventilation panel, while the bottoms are similar to previous shows with a flat bottom perfect for weightlifting and cross training, giving you plenty of stability. The new Reebok Nano X4 Training Shoe is $220 AUD and new exclusive colourways will be available to purchase online at reebok.com.au and in stores from today.
BONUS: I’ve also just started doing a gratitude journal this year and if anyone is interested in doing something similar, I can’t recommend enough the free website Reflections App, a great daily journal tool that a;so has a web app for your browser and mobile apps for iPhone and Android. If you’re not too good at it like me, you can set up daily templates to fill out to get you started with journaling. Supposedly after 21 days it’s meant to make you 25% happier, so we will see!

Quntis Waterproof Garden String Lights
John Guanzon – Head of Social
My house was busier than Santa’s workshop over the holidays, having hosted three back-to-back parties with family and friends over the Christmas weekend. While this meant non-stop cooking, entertaining, and cleaning, we were never short of Christmas joy and merriment. An essential piece of house party decor was the Quntis Waterproof Garden String Lights, which gave 16 metres of warm, festive glow via a string of outdoor festoon lights. Right out of the box, the installation was a cinch; the built-in hanging rings and the extra ties provided made it simple to set up around my alfresco area. The lights are not only shatterproof but also weatherproof, easily withstanding some rainy and windy nights. Definitely a simple but effective way to transform an outdoor space into an inviting and cozy entertaining space this summer!

Joyeee Ice Facial Rollers
Naman Singh – Content & SEO Specialist
With the summer months showing no signs of slowing down (no complaints here) we are all looking for ways to stay cool and that’s where Joyeee’s Ice Facial Rollers come in. Effortless in its design, this compact roller has further simplified my already very basic skincare routine. A few seconds each morning and they have significantly reduced morning puffiness and inflammation, and given my skin a cool and fresh start to the day.
A personal highlight was that you could add your choice of ingredient to the water-based concoction, based on what your skincare needs. I usually go with a rosewater and green tea combination for coolness and reinvigoration.

The Holdovers
Sam Mangioni – Journalist – Entertainment, Lifestyle & Culture
The Holdovers is one of the best movies I’ve seen in quite some time. Pack some tissues, it’s a rollercoaster of emotions, producing big laughs and even a few tears (at least for me). Through an underlying comedic lens, it skillfully navigates universal themes of grief, the past, family, and identity, challenging your emotions (and perhaps past decisions) throughout. What sets the film apart is its originality, evident in a captivating script and beautiful cinematography. However, it doesn’t overplay its hand, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the 70s time period it depicts.
While every actor delivers a noteworthy performance, Paul Giamatti steals the spotlight, showcasing his talent in what is arguably Alexander Payne’s finest work since Sideways. His performance rightfully earned him the Golden Globe. Moreover, the film’s clever one-liners make a strong case for it being the best Christmas film ever made—sorry, Grinch. The Holdovers is a true gem that combines emotional depth, originality, and holiday charm, making it a must-watch for any cinephile.
